- 22/09/2021 - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm IST
We Tridiagonal Solutions, an authorized partner of GTT technologies (Aachen, Germany) would like to introduce “FactSage©”, one of the largest fully integrated database computing systems in chemical thermodynamics in the world. FactSage is the result of a collaborative effort of more than 20 years between Thermfact/CRCT (Montreal, Canada) and GTT Technologies (Aachen, Germany).
The Calculation features of FactSage are used in a diverse area of applications and provide a flexible platform for the solution of complex thermochemical problems in various domains of industries and research. Users will get access to databases of thermodynamic data for thousands of compounds as well as to evaluated and optimized databases for hundreds of solutions of metals, liquid, and solid oxide solutions, mattes, molten and solid salt solutions, aqueous solutions, etc.
These fully integrated thermochemical software and database packages used worldwide at over 800 sites in Universities, Governmental and Non-Governmental research laboratories, and industry.
In this webinar we will be talking about FactSage capabilities, its uses and applications. Among others, we will present examples on the following topics:
- –Slag/Refractory interactions in steel making
- –Clogging formation in continuous casting
- –Alloy development for high temperature applications
Who should attend –
- –Researchers in the field of Metallurgy and Material Science Division
- –Experts in Material Science and Thermodynamics
